The Respiratory System

The jobs of the respiratory system

The breathing in and out of the pulmonary ventilation. The gas changes between the Bloodstream & the Lungs. It includes the way of passage for the oxygen from the air. The gas switch between the bloodstream and the body tissues. This includes the transport of the oxygenated blood from the heart to all the body. The air passes over the Laryngeal muscles which cause  a vibration which produces sound. One of the most important organ of the Respiratory system is the lungs.

The lungs The primary organs of the respiratory system are the lungs, which carry out this exchange of gases as we breathe. The lungs work with the circulatory system to pump oxygen-rich blood to all cells in the body. The trachea /windpipe is a wide hollow tube that connects the larynx/voice box to the bronchi of the lungs. Provides air flow to and from the lungs for respiration. The nose inhales air and out and helps you smell. The mouth helps you exhale air. The throat is your neck and it pushes food down. The voice box makes air pass that makes you speak. The Diaphragm is under the ribs. The bronchial tubes are the tubes connecting from the trachea to the lungs. The bronchioles are like roots from a plant the bronchioles are in the lungs. The alveoli is the little circles inside the lungs it exchanges the carbon dioxide to the oxygen. The capillaries are the smallest body cells in your body.

  • Air sacs / alveoli
  • Capillaries

What system does the respiratory system work with:

The respiratory system work with the circularity system because they both use the lungs to spread oxygen everywhere around the body.

The Analogy of the Respiratory System

The analogy of the system is a tree because the roots of the tree connected to the seed and the seed grows a lot of roots that end up connecting to the tree its self and that is like the veins connected to the lungs to spread oxygen around the body.
